Friday 8 January IRELAND’S EYE Though all the favourites got turned over at Southwell yesterday we did nevertheless manage 2 from 3 with Argentine (7/2-3/1) and saver Harlech Castle (11/4-5/2) obliging while The Tatling (7/2-11/4) took third money as did the flattering Onemoreandstay (7/2-3/1) – who could be backed in running on the DAQ AT 1-5. Two from three of the all weather meets today have survived and again BETDAQ are the main sponsor at one of these venues namely Lingfield today while Southwell sees action for the second day running

Monday 4 January DAQMAN? 9-2 BIG-RACE WIN FOR DAQMAN: Daqman picked the one-two in the Sussex National yesterday, feature event on the card at Plumpton: his two bets in the race, Master Overseer (won 9-2) and Tarquinius (2nd 10-3), were separated by a head at the finish of the 3m 5f race.
